Richardson delivered a shocking and exciting interview last night with the
“Suite Lady” of Soul Suite on 98.3 WRLR
There
is never a dull moment for the sultry soul singer/songwriter; who just released
his hot new single, “We’re Together”, to all of the top internet music stores
this past September. Several radio/TV personalities and promoters exclaim that
Calvin Richardson has the most loyal fans they’ve ever witnessed. His fan base,
(which he affectionately named his “Royal Family” and “Calvinites”) stay
abreast with The Prince of Soul through his social media sites (his website,
twitter, and FB)to remain updated with his every move such as: his touring
schedule, new music, diet and exercise regimen, and whatever else keeps them connected
to him. Fans as far as London, Japan, South Africa, and etc reach out to him
continuously in efforts to see more of him in their area. After lasting in the music
industry for over 14 years, taking a short hiatus during that time, and to still
come back with even more love and support than ever before; it’s safe to say
that the love is genuine to say the least.
On
May 29th, during an exclusive interview with Suitelady of Soul Suite 98.3 FM,
Calvin announced that the release of his sixth album, Enough Said, (which was
scheduled to be released summer 2013) has been postponed. He says he feels
there is still something else he needs to experience in life before he can
release the album with such a bold title; but that’s not all The Prince of Soul “let out of the bag”
during that interview. Richardson touched on the makings of the “Calangi”
project, the soul duet album he and Angie Stone are releasing in the near
future, and he was gently coerced by Suitelady into acknowledging his future
appearances on the hit TV ONE reality show, R&B Divas, as well. Calvin was also
excited to announce future projects with other artists such as Eric Benet and
Charlie Wilson. The world needs to hear these great soul collaborations and The
Prince of Soul’s “Royal Family” expressed that very aggressively with a “social
network explosion” following the interview. A lot of great new music and musical
collaborations are in the works for the alluring Calvin Richardson, including
his forthcoming album, Enough Said. He has successfully found his way in the
hearts of the world through his pure talent and is now planning to make his way
into our chillers with his new brand of wine, Exotic Crescendo.
